Occupation: Founder of wildwonder, a heritage-inspired sparkling drink for gut health
Heritage: Chinese American
My Story: wildwonder drinks are inspired by a strong and special woman in my life - my Chinese grandma, who raised me for the first 12 years of my life. She brewed healing tonics with wild herbs and plants. Not only did grandma teach me the philosophy of ‘food as medicine’, but she also exemplified the entrepreneurial spirit. As a woman born in the 1920s in China, she didn’t have the opportunity to be properly educated. She taught herself how to read and write, ended up taking leadership positions in everything she did, and even started learning English in her 60s. I hope to instill that grandma wisdom in building wildwonder.
